Ilza Le Minnie hails from Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape where she completed her Llb at Nelson Mandela University in 2011. In the same year she completed her Practical Legal Training at the Port Elizabeth Law School.Ilza commenced her articles at Legal Aid South Africa, Stellenbosch Office in 2012 and completed same in 2014. During her articles she was focused on criminal litigation in the Magistrates Courts.
Ilza was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2014 and was then appointed as a Legal Practitioner at Legal Aid South Africa, Malmesbury Office. She was responsible for criminal litigation in the district and regional courts as well as being responsible for the civil department. This included divorces, property law, labour law, general civil litigation, children’s court, child justice law, maintenance as well as protection and harassment orders.
In 2018 she left Legal Aid South Africa and joined Rossouw & Du Plessis Attorneys under the guidance and mentorship of talented Kobus Rossouw and skilful Elmarie du Plessis, where she assisted clients in all fields of law.
Le Minnie Attorneys has always been in the pipeline for Ilza and in 2019 she opened the doors of her first office.
During the 2021 Local Goverment Elections Ilza was also elected as a Councillor for Swartland Municipality and subsequently the Chairperson of the section 79 Portfolio Committe on Municipal Management, Finance and Administration.
Chante Hans originates from Malmesbury, Western Cape. She matriculated from Schoonspruit Secondary School Malmesbury in 2014 and enrolled for become Law at CTI. Chante then registered with Unisa shortly thereafter to pursue a full time Llb. Ms. Hans indicated that her start in Bcom Law sparked her interest in Law and left her no choice, but to put her weight into Law full time. She was an all round Candidate Attorney and has already appeared in many courts in all different fields of law and like the rest of the staff is passionate about serving the community. Chante is awaiting Admission as an attorney and it currently serving as a paralegal at the firm.
Lindzay Moses originates from Atlantis Western Cape. She matriculated from Robinvale High School in 2017 and enrolled for the Bachelor of Laws program at the IIE Varsity College. She has always been extremely interested in how the justice system works and is passionate about serving the community. Lindzay is multifaceted and enjoys all spheres of litigation. Lindzay has an academic focus and sees herself lecturing Law in the future. She is currently a Master’s Student at the University of the Western Cape focused on Criminal Justice.
